We used Appetite Catering for a 35 person dinner party recently and would highly recommend them. Sophie was so easy to... deal with and very helpful. The food was delicious, everyone was so complimentary of it.. We had the beef in red wine and chicken tarragon for Mains, the nicest chicken tarragon I have ever had. Our vegetarians were delighted with their dahl and exquisite asparagus & red pepper tart. Richard & Sophie arrived promptly, set up efficiently and were very helpful on portion quantities etc as we had opted to serve ourselves. The salads were delicious and the desserts a huge hit.. I was sorry I had not ordered an extra raspberry roulade! Using Appetite Catering took all the stress away and enabled us to thoroughly enjoy our night. Would absolutely use again. From our initial contact and selection of menus for our son’s communion; the correspondence was efficient and advice... forthcoming. On the day, we opted for two hot dishes , salads and two tarts. Every single dish was beautiful and would highly recommend the standard of food. We opted for having a server on the day, great additional option and Emma who worked with us on the day was a dream. She had the right balance of chat and not imposing. This is a very well run catering company and will definitely use for any future catering events we have. Sophie Lawlor catered for a party of sixty at a retirement do. The lamb tangine was to die for and you’d get up during... the night to eat the chicken dish! Genuinely amazing food .. i cant remember tasting anything like it. It's like I've never had it before. Now believe me... I like food, honestly its all i eat. But this isn't food. It's life.
